CORTEX FESTIVAL & GAMES

Back in 2016 Headway Sefton volunteer, Andrew Ormesher, was a patient in a rehabilitation centre in recovery after a traumatic brain injury. He came up with the idea of having a games event for people with brain injuries. 10 years on, in partnership with Headway Sefton Trustee, Jan Johnston, also a brain-injured person; the games are finally happening. The games are for all neurodivergent people, not just brain injured people. This includes Autism, dementia, Cerebral Palsy, amongst many other long-term neurological conditions and disabilities.

On Sunday 13th September - 10am to 2pm

at Merchant Taylor School, Liverpool Rd, L23 0QW

Cortex Festival & Games are working with Headway Sefton and other partner services to deliver this empowering, exciting, inclusive and unique event.
